Maite joined Asabys in 2019 and she is primary focused in supporting the firm’s healthtech portfolio with their development, expansion and exit strategies, as well as being actively involved in Asabys’ fundraising and corporate development activities including ESG practices.
Prior to joining Asabys, Maite led Business Development at Sphera Global Healthcare, telemedicine company with operations in Europe, Latam and Africa. Previously, she was incubating digital businesses at Antai Ventures, leading venture builder in Southern Europe. Maite started her professional career at Deloitte Corporate Finance, unit responsible for M&A and debt restructuring operations in Spain.
Maite is currently doing a graduate program at Harvard University, in Corporate Innovation and Sustainability, holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and the University of Florida (Warrington College of Business), and a master’s degree in Digital Marketing by ISDI.
