Principal at Asabys, where she joined in 2019. Maite focuses on sourcing, executing, and managing investments across the firm’s healthtech portfolio and plays an active role in Asabys’ fundraising and corporate development initiatives. Maite currently serves as a board observer for Qida, XRHealth, Medasense, and Deepull.
Before joining Asabys, Maite led Business Development at Sphera Global Healthcare, a telemedicine company operating across emerging markets. She previously worked at Antai Ventures, where she contributed to the incubation of digital businesses. Maite began her career at Deloitte Corporate Finance.
Maite is pursuing a graduate program in Corporate Innovation and Sustainability at Harvard University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from UPF and the University of Florida, and a master’s in Digital Marketing from ISDI.
